Nathaniel Hyde, former student of the Sir John A Cumber Primary School, attended the CIYDC Youth Transition pilot after-school programme, held January 2011 - June 2011. During his attendance Nathaniel participated in sessions on developmental assets and worked on improving his literacy skills. He completed his asset project of writing a book about his interest, IGUANAS. This book was written to promote asset #25, Reading for Pleasure.
Nathaniel did very well in the programme. Upon completion he showed improvement in both his behavior and effort.
